Dear Mr. Missimer:
Thank you for your nice letter telling of the progress being
made with Miss Keil's biography. Just recently I thought about
you and wondered how things were going with the manuscript.
I suppose the sad news about Miss Keil's present condition
should not be surprising. It is, nevertheless, a depressing
situation, especially for those who are close to her. It is
most difficult for your sister who has attended her so faith-
fully. I hope you will let us know of any significant changes
or sudden turn of events.
I do hope you all had a pleasant and relaxing trip to
Massachusetts.
