- 3 - Miss Virginia B. Elliman American National Red Cross As soon as the article is completed and revised and has undergone final typing, it will be sent to one of the leading literary agents in New York for comment and if he considers it saleable in its finished form from there on it will be up to him to place it. However, he may suggest revision, editing and cutting in length. He will also make the selection as to illustrations from Miss Keil's snapshots which I will select and send on. I have already consulted him regarding this article. I will not have to bother you any more because I think that this letter covers all the questions concerning which I would like some information. The bound copy of "The Hatchet" gives me a wealth of information as to the Presi- dential trip December 4, 1918, supplying a complete list of the passengers and names of the ships that convoyed the SS George Washington and other data. Miss Keil's snapshots include several of the King and Queen of Belgium which are clear enough for submission, also some autographed pictures of President Wilson and many other photographs which can be used. Most of her Russian pictures, however, are not good enough for reproduction in a magazine but I think I will be able to select a few of them which might pass. Thanking you again and again and with best regards, I am Very sincerely yours, WCM/KC willing W.C. Missimer
