THE AMERICAN RED CROSS
SIBERIAN COMMISSION
VLADIVOSTOK HOSPITAL
February 26, 1919
Dear Doctor Manget:
Miss Kingsbury, as you know, is very anxious
to go on a Czech steamer to Bohemia.
For the sake of our hospital and for all con-
cerned I hope that you will see fit to allow her to go.
She has one splendid quality, and that is loyalty and faith-
fulness to her patients, but for institutional work of
this character she is not fitted, and her usefulness is
still more impaired by her state of health.
I have learned from one of the other nurses
that Miss Kingsbury is an excellent traveller at sea, and
as she is SO anxious to go I think she would probably
prove of much use if she went.
She is a very conscientious woman and truly wants
to be of service, but is unfitted for this particular job.
Yours very truly,
with
7pm
