nurses you. for definite In who the have and information returned encouraging there given information us is nothing by the other to to give in-
dicate that your sister was lost 80 far as anyone
knew. Of course we cannot be too optimistic due
to the time which has now elapsed since the ship
on which Dorothea was traveling was known to have
been torpedoed. But because of the delay in in-
formation in some instances, we do not feel we
should be entirely without hope. An extensive
on search can the authorities has lockout been for made, are those fully and who both informed have British not and yet and constantly been Aueri-
re-
ported rescued. We know the courageous spirit with
which these nurses entered upon the work that had
been planned, and wish we might be able to give you
word of their safety. We assure you that we will
give you the first information available from any
of the sources which keep us informed.
