Dear Miss Badger:
Replying to your letter of February 21st
with reference to Miss Winifred LaLonde's qualifications
for Red Cross Nursing Service, will say that I have
known Miss La Londe quite well for upwards of twenty
years. I believe her to be a competent nurse,
qualified in every way for the service you mention.
She has been employed in our Alpena General Hospital
since it opened eighteen months ago, having resigned
recently. Her work here has been entirely satisfactory
and were sorry have her leave.
