My Dear Miss Beard:
I have just learned of your proposed program to be carried
out throughout the nine corps areas, and it seems such a
significant program, and recognizing the importance of this
service, I am prompted to write to you as you suggested
and express my willingness to make any contribution to this
important work, should there be an opportunity for me.
I am located in the Sixth Corps Area, and would willingly
accept a part in this program planning that you may find
possible to consider for me.
