Miss C. D. Noyes.
(2)
I want you to know Miss Noyes however,
that my affection and loyalty toward the Red Cross is
very deep-rooted, and I would not in any way wish to
appear to ask the impossible, or to be unreasonable in
my request to be released from my present position. I
certainly appreciate your always kindly and tolerant
attitude toward me, and my many failings. I am feeling
at present rather like the man on his death bed, who
thinks of all the things he has left undone, and all
the things he did which he shouldn't have done. It is
quite a chastening experience.
Very sincerely yours,
Dnorthy Pedyard
Dorothy Ledyard,
Assistant National Director,
Nursing Service.
