Honorary Degrees for Well Known Nurses
Lucile Petry, Director, Division of Nurse Education, U.S. Public Health Service,
awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Laws at the dedication ceremony of the
was school of nursing building at Syracuse University. Miss Petry wa a speaker at the
new dedication services. Miss Petry was also awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Humane
Letters by Adelphi College, Garden City, N.Y.
