March 6, 1942 Miss Genevieve Leprestre c/o Wise Shirley McClure 2256 N.W. Quimby Portland, Oregon My dear Miss Leprestre: Although we do not know our definite sail- ing date, it may be encouraging for you to hear that WS have received reports from Washington that the need for nurses in Havaii still exists, and the mili- tary authorities are anxious to nave our Unit as soon as possible. In the meantime, they are trying to work out arrangements for our transportation. You have received considerable information about immunisations so it should not be necessary to elaborate further, and please follow the instructions as given on the attached sheet. One copy of the #Immunization Register" is to be returned to us. For your convenience, we have copied the information which we have on file. Sincerely yours, (Miss) Gladyce L.
