now appear, rewarded, over the protest of the responsible offi-
cials of this Chapter, seems to us entirely wrong and above all,
damaging to the reputation of the great Red Cross Organization,
which stands for nothing if not for fearless devoted and un-
selfish service.
We, therefore, repeat our protest of October 29th,
with all the emphasis at our command.
