Prosser 21 June 1944 Military Liaison Officer Red Cross Nurses Some two weeks ago we received a radio from the Command- arrival of Miss Florence Little, a Red Cross nurse, and Miss ing General, Central Pacific Area, advising us of the pending Beatrice Morse, her attendant. M SS Little was suffering from a heart complaint. We were asked to meet the ship, pro- vide an ambulance and hotel accomodations and arrange for transportation and pullman to the east coast. They arrived on June 13th. We met the ship and had Miss Little taken by ambulance to Letterman General Hospital for a checkup. Hotel accomodation was secured for Miss Morse. On June 19th we were advised that Miss Little was able to travel and through a lucky break were able to secure a come partment to Chicago and a bedroom from Chicago to New York, for the 20th. We checked their baggage through and brought them to Miss Morse's hotel preparatory to their departure last evening. A copy of this letter is being sent to Mr. Horace J. Sprague. Roland E.
