    "ocrText": "301 Main Street\nSaco, Maine\nJanuary 20, 1934.\nTo:\nThe Adjutant General, U.S. Army, Washington, D.C.\nSubject: Discharge from Red Cross Military Service.\n1. The undersigned Alyce Nella Lockrey served in the Red\nCross Military Service during the World War, but has never received\nan official discharge certificate.\n2. Some of the facts connected with my service are as\nfollows:\nName served under: Alyce Nella Wormwood\nRed Cross Military Service-Oct 2, 1917 to Sept 16,1918.\nTrans. to Army Reserve Corps Sept. 16, 1918\nAppointed to continue with Army Reserve Corps, Evacuation\na\nHospital no. 110 at Coiney, France, Major John Moorehead, C.O.\nLieut. Benjamin McGrath, acting adjutant, gave the oath.\nSept. 16, 1918.\nU\nHospital moved to Villers- Dancourt, France Sept.27, 1918.\nUnit recalled and demobilized Nov. 24, 1918.\nHospitalized at Hospital no. 101 at Neuilly, France\nfor the treatment of bronchitis. Upon discharge from hospital, I re-\nported to Army Nurses Hdq. in charge of Carrie N. Hall, where I was\ninformed that the office of the Surgeon General had not received my\npapers, and I was refused travel orders.\nThe Red Cross then paid my salary from Sept. 16, 1918 to\nthe date of my release, Dec. 28, 1918, and sent me home to Boston, Mass.\n3. Some of the officers connected with my service: Dr. John\nMoorehead, 115 East 64th St., New York City. Dr. Terr W. Homer ,HARMER\nMarlbourough St., Boston, Mass. Dr. Benjamin R. McGrath, Connor Bldg.\nGrand Island, Nebraska. Arthur E. McLendon, 1330 Assembly St., Colum-\nbia, South Carolina.\n4. It is requested that I be given a discharge certificate,\nor certificate in lieu thereof.\n13 Received A. G. d: JAN 26 1934 alyce n. Lockey (nee alyce\nAlyce N.
