ABOUT PEOPLE YOU KNOW
Ida M. MacDonald, (B. A., University of Montana; Presbyterian, Chicago),
since 1942 associate director, Red Cross Volunteer Nurse's Aide Service,
Washington, D. C., comes to National Nursing Headquarters this fall to
assist in the National League of Nursing Education's accrediting program.
Miss MacDonald served as head nurse in medicine, University of Nebraska
Hospital; assistant instructor in nursing arts, teaching supervisor in
communicable disease nursing, assistant superintendent of nurses, and as-
sistant professor of nursing education at the University of Minnesota and
its associated hospitals. Miss MacHonald has done graduate study in counseling
and personnel work at the University of Minnesota and has been active in the
Minnesota State League. She is the author of several Journal articles.
