Mahoney, who is to be honored for her outstanding contributions to nursing by the Virginia Nurses Association, District V, on the night of January 30, 1969. This information is being sent in support of the recommendation of Mrs. Mahoney for the Ann Magnussen Award. Having known and worked with Mrs. Mahoney for many years has been a real privilege and an honor. Her dedication, unself- ishness and continuous search for ways in which Red Cross might assist and participate in community programs are qualities admired by all her colleagues.
