Prof. C. E. A. Winslow
I am glad that you approve of the "TEN MINUTES"
ADVISORY COUNCIL
Edna L. Foley, R.N., President
which the N.O.P.H.N. is asking of various nurses. I do think
Prof. C. E. A. Winslow, Chairman
Hermann M. Biggs, M.D.
that it was done very well and Miss Carr and Miss Behr
Lee K. Frankel, Ph.D.
Charles J. Hatfield, M.D.
deserve the credit.
Mrs. Helen Hartley Jenkins
Julia C. Lathrop
Mrs. William K. Vanderbilt
Lillian D. Wald, R.N.
I am most interested in your interview with Miss
William H. Welch, M.D.
Minnigerode. Miss Foley apparently has taken up this matter
STAFF
with Miss Cannon. Miss Marshall spent two hours in the
Headquarters
office yesterday re-hashing the whole situation. She had
Ada M. Carr, R.N., Assist. Director
Mary E. Lent, R.N.
interviewed various people in the Rod Cross in Boston -- Miss
Janet M. Geister, R.N.
Pearl H. Braithwaite, R.N.
Cannon and others. I confess I am still firm in my belief
Florence Bradley, Librarian
Ray S. Kulenkampff, Comptroller
that the whole thing is a problem for the American Tuberculosis
Central Branch-Chicage
Association and not for the .O.P.H.N. or for the American Red
Stella Fuller, R.N.
Cross Nursing Service - either one.
I am deeply grieved over the fact that we have left off
the A.N.A. in our little pamphlet. We will attempt to rectify
this (if it does not cost too much/ in reprinting. We have
already circulated thirty thousand of these and have about
fifteen thousand on hand. While rectifying this error with
a rubber stamp might remedy some sore feolings, it would on the
other hand cause a tremendous new crop of sore feelings in
this office, as practically all of our clerical help at the
present time has been turned over to the Campaign work and as
we have not any more space for extra clerical help, Miss Bradley,
Miss Carr and Miss Fuller are all getting along with practically
no assistance for ten days. At any rate, why does not the
"National Nursing Association's Headquarters' cover the A.N.A.?
We had a terribly entertaining letter from Miss Holmes
this morning, describing the Pageant in Washington.
Do you happen to know anything about the work of
Frances Maltby? She has written asking for work with our
