W.,\nce\nWashington, D. c.\nI\nMy dear Miss Mansfield:\nThe Graduate Nurses' Association of the District of Columbia\nhas just advised us of your willingness to continue service as a member of\nour District of Columbia Committee on Red Cross Nursing Service and recom-\nmends your reappointment. We are very glad to know that you are available\nfor this service and take pleasure in hereby reappointing you a member of\nthe District of Columbia Committee on Red Cross Nursing Service for the\ncoming year.\nAlthough you are doubtless familiar with the requirements for\nRed Cross enrollment, you will find the enclosed leaflet, A.R.C. 703,\nhelpful in giving other nurses information regarding enrollment. Also, you\nwill wish to read over the attached pamphlet, A.R.C. 710, giving the plan\nof organization of committees and the responsibilities of committees and\ncommittee members. You will be particularly interested in pages 6 to 9\nwhich refer to the Local Commi ttees.\nWe should like to urge that you attend the committee meetings\nthat will be called from time to time if you can find it possible to do so,\nfor the chairman and secretary of the committee need the cooperation of every\nmember in order that they may secure the enrollment of nurses in their com-\nmunity which is the purpose of the committee organization.\nFor your information, the following are the officers of the\nDistrict of Columbia Committee -\nMiss Lucy Minnigerode, Chairman,\nSupt. of Nurses, U.
