My dear Miss Markley:
We have been informed of your release from active ser-
vice with the U. s. Veterans Administration and should like to
have your records'a a Red Cross nurse brought up to date, in
the event you may be available for some Red Cross activity in
case of a disaster or other emergency in your own locality.
Will you be good enough to inform us of the type of
work you are noz doing and send us your present address for our
files.
Your No. 2 card, which has been on file at National
Headquarters during the period of your Government Service, will
now be filed with the Local Committee on Red Cross Nursing Service
in the jurisdiction of which you locate. You will receive the
name and address of the Secretary of this Committee as soon as you
advise us of your present address.
