Public Health Service has been recommended to the Department with com- pensation at the rate of $720 per annum, quarters, sub- sistence and laundry, to be effective from the date of entrance upen duty. Confirming Bureau telegram dated January 24, 1920, you are requested to proceed inmediately to U. s. Public Health Service Hospital, Ellis Island, New York, and re- port for duty to the Medical Officer in Charge. While executing these orders, you should secure re- ceipts for all money paid out, to present with your travel account for reimbursement . By direction of the Surgeon General.
