"
MISS MCCAUGHEY
I have not felt that Miss McCaughey was a strong type of woman even
for assistant, but I really do not know her intimately, and as both Miss Mathews and Miss
Gardner who have had long time opportuntien for knowing her, recommended her for the first
post I felt J had no real arguments for withholding such appointment as at least assistant."
