My dear Mies McNamara:
Your physical has been approved and we are now ready to
complete your appoint ent for the Hawaiian Nursing Service.
However, in that you wish to go with Miss Daven, we are
holding this in abeyance until we can clear with Miss Daven con-
cerning her medical history. If by any chance our Red Cross
medical advisor feels that she does not qualify for Foreign Service,
do you still wish to be considered?
Wie will appreciate a prompt reply as we are eager to
complete all appointments as soon as possible. We would like to
consider you for May 1 if we complete your appointment.
