My dear Miss McNeils
It gives us pleasure to send you this official
letter of appointment as a member of the Michigan State Committee
on Red Cross Nursing Service for the coming year, as recommended
by the Michigan State Nurses' Association.
We regret that it is not poscible to send you a
copy of our pamphlet, ARC 710, which outlines the purpose and
functions of the Committees as it is in the process of revision.
However, we are enclosing a mimeographed sheet of extracts which
will no doubt serve your purpose.

In our effort to secure an additional 10,000 nurses
needed for the first reserve, we shall have to depend upon each
and every member of the State and Loenl Committees to grasp every
opportunity for interesting young nurses. Please share with us
your suggestions for incrensing enrollment.
