Complications have arisen here which will
make it impossible for me to get away next week. I am
returning the tax exemption certificate.
I appreciate very much your calling me,
but I feel that it would be impossible for me to consider
any other position at this time. I may possibly be in
Washington at a later date, and, if I am and you are in, I
will call you.
Thank you for thinking of me in connection
with the Red Cross position.
