Miss Holen Aldine McNutt
613 Park
Willard, Ohio
e
My dear Miss McNutt:
Transportation arrangements, as you know, are being made by
the Army which has control over all boats leaving the Coast and
we are in daily communication with the Army regarding arrangements.
As all shipping facilities are in great demand, we now believe there
is going to be more of a delay in getting the Unit off than we hoped.
I do not like to mention any definite time but we are really thinking
of a delay of possibly as much as a month. Me are assured of the need
for the nurses, however, and we are hoping to have transportation avail-
able before too long.
We would suggest that you complete all papers which we have sent
you as son as possible so that we would be in a position to act more
quickly than I have indicated if necessary. Please keep us informed of
where we can reach you very quickly if necessary or of any change in
cifcumstances which would interfer with your going through with the
assignment.
Sincerely yours,
Virginia M. Dunbar
