Dear Miss Dunbar:
Miss Helen Aldine McNutt graduated from the
Illinois Training School for Nurses in 1923. Our records
show that she came to this organization in December, 1936
as a general staff nurse in the Surgical Department and was
transferred in June, 1937 to the Admitting Department and on
September 1 of that year she was given the appointment of
Night Supervisor in the Admitting Department.
She resigned from the organization July 8, 1938.
I was not well acquainted with Miss McNutt because her service
was during the first year of my experience at Cook County.
However, her record indicates that she was rather excitable but
had a pleasing personality and that she got along well with
her co-workers.
I am sorry the information is so limited and
trust that from other sources you will be able to secure
more complete and recent information regarding her character
and qualifications.
