My dear Mrs. Powers:
I received your letter re the recruiting of nurses.
Would like to say that I graduated in 1909. Served in the
ARC nursing abroad for over two years during the last war,
then married and gave up nursing. Three years ago circum-
stances compelled me to again enter the active field. Have
done general nursing at the above hospital since, and still
continue. I notified the Red Cross a year ago and gave my
number, but have not heard from them so do not know if I
still retain a place on the list of Red Cross nurses or not.
Should be much obliged to find out . My number of the Red
Cross pin is 1045.
