Dear Miss Delano:
I beg to acknowledge, with most cordial
thanks, the receipt of your very thoughtful note of the
22nd instant, giving such information as you have in re-
gard to my sister. I ha ve heard from her recently, and
as near as I can judge from her letters, I think she ex-
pects to reach San Francisco somewhere around July first,-
possibly a little sooner, but, probably, a little later.
It was extremely thoughtful and courteous of you to
write me abouth er , and I assure you that I am most ap-
preciative. If at any time there should be any way in
which I can be of service to you, I beg that you will allow
me that privilege and pleasure.
