Miss Lillian F. Hewis,
Home Service Secretary,
Mynn Chapter, American Red Cross,
214 Security Trust Building,
Bynn, assachusetts.
My dear Miss Lewis:
In reply to your letter of May 21, to Miss Havey,
which was referred to the Nursing Service, we are sure that the
person you are inquiring for is Miss Lucy Minnigerode, who was a
member of the Headquarters' staff of the American Red Cross Nursing
Service during the war.
Miss Minnigerode is now Director of Nurses, United
States Public Health Service, Washington, I.C., and I am quite sure
she will be delighted to hear from Mrs. Lewis. I had the pleasure
of lunching with Miss Minnigerode yesterday, so that I know she is
at the present time in town.
Very sincerely yours,
Ida F. Butler,
Assistant National Director,
IFB.H
Nursing Service.
