Chypo Vaughan
letter to Mrs.
THE AMERICAN RED CROSS
PENNSYLVANIA DELAWARE DIVISION HEADQUARTERS
134 SOUTH SIXTEENTH STREET
PHILADELPHIA, PA.
INTER-OFFICE LETTER
To Bureau of Equipment, A.R.C., 222 Fourth Ave.,
Date
March 7, 1919.
New York, N.Y.
From
Miss Susan C. Francis, Director, Bureau
of Nursing.
Subject
Equipment Cards for Elizabeth G. Wilson, #26516, --Siberian Service.
We received yesterday from Washington Headquarters
from which I quote as follows:
"Nurses who are being considered for this Unit have been
informed that equipment cards will be furnished by the New York Office
concerning the necessary equipment and also measurements. We have
tried to impress upon them the importance of having them filled. out
and returned to the Bureau of Equipment in New York at their earliest
convenience in order that the equipment may be shipped to them as soon
as possible. We would appreciate it if you would keep in touch with
these nurses regarding their receiving their equipment. Nurses living
in so many different parts of the States makes it rather difficult, and
we are anxious that they should receive this at once. "

On receipt of this letter I at once wrote to
Miss Elizabeth G. Wilson,
155 North Craig St.,
E. E., Pittsburgh, Pa.,
asking if she had received the equipment cards, and if she had for-
warded same to the New York Office. This morning I am in receipt of
a telegram from Miss Wilson:
"Have not received equipment cards."
Will you therefore please send the necessary cards to
Miss Wilson, and will you also kindly let me know that this matter is
being attended to, that I may keep my records clear and up-to-date.
Thanking you for your attention, I am,
Yours sincerely,
a.e.s.
SCF.ACS
Director, Bureau of Nursing.
