#26,516 ATLANTIC DIVISION Miss Johnson, Director, Nursing Service June 2, 1921 re - Elizabeth Gertrude Wilson #26,516 Miss Noyes, Director, Nursing Service. May I acknowledge your letter of May 26th enclosing the 5 X 8 status card of Miss Elizabeth Gertrude Wilson with the information that the old Pennsylvania Division files show Miss Wilson's #2 card and old status cards were forwarded to National Headquarters June 7, 1920. This is correct, but no definite decision has yet been rendered in Miss Wilson's case. It is still pending in this office. In my letter of June 21, 1920 to Miss Francis acknowledg- ing Miss Wilson's #2 card, I stated we would advise her when final action was taken. Cons iderable correspondence has taken place since June 1920, and in order that you may be fully advised in the case, I am enclosing with this a summary of the important correspondence up to date, as well as a copy of my letter of even date to the nurse advising her of my desire to have a personal interview with her upon my next visit to New York City. It seems rather useless to return the status card and #2 card to you at this time as we hope to take final action in this case in the very near future, so may I tak that you make the proper notations on Miss Wilson's alphabetical card in your files, referring to this correspondence and as soon as a final decision is rentered you will be advised. If the decision is favorable, we will immediately return Miss Wilson's #2 card and 5 X 8 status card to your office. MD:JF
