    "ocrText": "#26,516\nATLANTIC DIVISION\nMiss Johnson, Director, Nursing Service\nJune 2, 1921\nre - Elizabeth Gertrude Wilson #26,516\nMiss Noyes, Director, Nursing Service.\nMay I acknowledge your letter of May 26th enclosing\nthe 5 X 8 status card of Miss Elizabeth Gertrude Wilson with the\ninformation that the old Pennsylvania Division files show Miss\nWilson's #2 card and old status cards were forwarded to National\nHeadquarters June 7, 1920. This is correct, but no definite\ndecision has yet been rendered in Miss Wilson's case. It is\nstill pending in this office.\nIn my letter of June 21, 1920 to Miss Francis acknowledg-\ning Miss Wilson's #2 card, I stated we would advise her when final\naction was taken. Cons iderable correspondence has taken place\nsince June 1920, and in order that you may be fully advised in the\ncase, I am enclosing with this a summary of the important correspondence\nup to date, as well as a copy of my letter of even date to the nurse\nadvising her of my desire to have a personal interview with her upon\nmy next visit to New York City.\nIt seems rather useless to return the status card and\n#2 card to you at this time as we hope to take final action in this\ncase in the very near future, so may I tak that you make the proper\nnotations on Miss Wilson's alphabetical card in your files, referring\nto this correspondence and as soon as a final decision is rentered\nyou will be advised. If the decision is favorable, we will immediately\nreturn Miss Wilson's #2 card and 5 X 8 status card to your office.\nMD:JF"
