You indicated on your application form that you would be available
May 1 or June 1, 1943. We are quite eager to complete all appointments
within the next two months and wonder if it would be possible for you to
be ready by April 1. Will you please write us immediately, advising us of
youn plans and whether or not you can so arrange it. If not, we will extend
the time of your appointment to the time that you can get ready to go, but

hope that it will be by at least May 1. If you can go April 1 there will be
other nurses going at that time and you will not havé to trável alone.
As we have indicated to you before, the Red Cross will advance the
money shall mail this check to you later when the definite date of your appointment
to pay the expenses of your trip "rom your home to San Francisco. We

We shall want to keep in close touch with you from now on, so
please keep us informed of any' current change of address or telephone number.
If you have any problems which are not answered in the printed enclosures,
feel free to write us at any time. Be sure to see that all forms which are
to be returned to this office are in the mail before you leave the Mainland.
