My dear Miss Muma:
Now that some of your credentials lave been returned, we are
in a pesition to definitely considersyour application for civilion nurs-
ing service in Hawail. Your appointant, depends of course, upon your
present physical fitness for forei m service. Therefore, I an referring
you to Dr. Carll Seymour Mundy, 125 15th Street, Toledo, Ohio, for this
physical examitation. No are also communicating with Ir. Mundy, advising
him that you will report within a short time. Will you please, there-
fore, take the responsibility of getting in touch with Dr. Mundy upon re-
ceipt of this letter, to make an appointment. D. Mundy has been advised
that the American Rod Cross will assume whatever expense is involved for
the exemination. Your teeth should be in good condition so that you will
not be in need of any immediate dental work.
As soon as the report of your physical excination has been
returned to this office we will advise you of the decision of our Red
Cross medical examiner concerning your physical fitness for service.
