CONTRACT MADE THIS

between the Sib rian Commission of the AMERICAN RED CROSS, here-
hareinafter
inafter designated as ARC and Hazel g Bruner

I. r agrees to enter the service of ARC for a inium meriod of 0:1

of policy ARC find it necessary to restrict their staff they can
dispense with B's services at any time within the period of one year,
by arranging for B's return to historher) home town, US provided for

can be called unon to serve in any canacity in which , in the oninion

During the period of this contract. ARC will nay the monthly

ARC ; will provid B with board and lodging, but
if for any reason they are unable to do SO they shell pay to B t
further allowance of $4500 gold or the equivalent in roubles, in
lieu thereof, and B agrees to accept such a sum in full and complet
settlement for the non-supply of board and lodging,

ARC will provide B with equipment not exceeding the cost of
$25000 Gold. B to make his for her) wn purchases of materials
which must be in accordance with the standard requirements laid do
by ARC for the uniforms to be worn by its staff. Renayments of thes
sums will be made only unon presentation of vouchers showing that
the material has been received and is in accordance with ARC
requirements, It is furthermore agreed that if for any re
whatsoever B's services with ARC are terminated before how 19-1919
except by reason of a general reduction of ARC staff , F

to them all moneys which hefor she) shall have received for is
(or her) equipment but in this case the equipment will remain his
(or her) property , It is also agreed that in such a case ARC may
reimburse themselves for clothing advances made to B deducting the
total of such advances from any sums due to B on account of salary
or expences.
