Nelson,\nThe Highland Hospital,\n1820 Highland Avenue,\nFall River, Mass.\nMy dear Miss Nelson:\nYour physical examination has just been received and approved by our\nMedical Officer, also the statement from your physician in regard to recent in-\noculation for typhoid. It will, however, be necessary for you to submit a re-\ncent vaccination for smallpox for filing with your papers, so I am inclosing\nwith this two immunity certificates - the blue one to be sent to this office\nfor filing and the white one to be retained by you.\nI am glad that you are able to accept this opportunity for service\nin France. I am sending with this a circular of instruction concerning equip-\nment and shall probably ask the nurses to report in New York not 1ster than the\n18th of February.\nI inclose also receipt blanks and a filing card for the address of\nyour nearest relative.\nKindly keep me posted sho 1d your address change, and should you\ndesire any further information do not hesitate to write to me.\nYours sincerely,\nChairman National Committee\nRed Cross Nursing Service.\nInclosures.\nD-A /"
