My dear Dr. Sullivan:
On the recommendation of Dr. Junos Christie, Aseistant Director,
Medical and Health Service, fational Heedquarters, American Red Cross, we
are referrin to you for physical examination, Miss Helen Miriam "Ammer,
a Red cross nurse who igintorested in boing considered for service in
Ramaii. We are now writing ner to get in touch with you for an appoint-
ment.
As in all emergencies or foreign service assignments, physical
stemina and enotional stability of nigh order are essential. To aid us
in the evaluation of these qualities we are enlisting your servidos for
this physical examination. Ne andl appreciate your cooperation, and
will see- that you are compensated at the rate of five dollazs. ($5.00)
for the examination.
A physical examination report form is herewith enclosed. If
on examining this nurse, it is your recommendation that special examino-
tions x-ray, basal etc.) are ine
dicited, vill you please communic té with us for authorisation.
The physical report, bill and any recommendation for furtier
examinations should be sent to this office, through which they will be
referrod to our Personnel Service.
