N S. on Mar 3 Mr. Winfrey June 26, 1944 a a Mrs. Vaughan Miss Marguerite Wales I had an opportunity to speak to Miss Beard about Mr. Eaton's quéstion concerning additional sick leave for Miss Wales before she tee left on Saturday. Miss Peard would like to recommend that an additional amount of leave be granted Miss wales to cover the period from June 15 to July 5 or longer if necessary. D Because of the length of her illness and the uncertainty of her return, would it be advisable to have Dr. McGinnes get a statement from e Miss Wale's physician, Dr. Charles Hendee Smith of New Brunswick, con- cerning his prognosis of the case? x (Mrs) Elsbeth H.
