N + on 3 Davis Files June 11, 1940 Dear Margueritet It is nice of the Kellogg Foundation to have known the value to the Red Cross of having you come to Washington to speak at our luncheon. Mr. Allen and I were speaking of it just before he left for Paris, and saying how successful we felt that luncheon vas and hov delightful & part you played in making it 8 success. I don't see how we can let you out of the Chairmanship of the State Committee on Red Cross Nursing Service just now. We need you very nuch.
