My dear Mr. President,
Your very good letter of December eighth I held
on my desk awaiting the arrival of the beautiful Honorary
Cross which your Board of Governors was so good as to confer
upon our Director of Nursing, Miss Clara D. Noyes.
It affords ne the greatest pleasure to make the
presentation and to express to your Board of Governors the
appreciation of The American Red Cross and myself. Miss
Noyes will also write you.
My warmest regards and every good wish for the
continued success and prosperity of your splendid Red Cross.
