My dear Miss Butler: mustry Indeed we are glad to know that you read the Agenda for State Meet- ings so carefully, and that it bore fruit in your letter of October 28th. You can guess, I am sure, how happy it makes us to acknowledge your recommendation of Miss Clara D. Noyes as a candidate for the Saunders Memorial Medal for 1933. We believe that the statement you sent in in regard to Miss Noyes, brief as it is, cannot fail to give the Committee an excellent re- view of at least a part of Miss Noyes' contribution to nursing. of course, we are not supposed, in this office, to have any personal feelings in regard to proposed candidates for the Medal, but naturally we cannot help being enthusiastic when we see some of the names that are sent in. You can guess how much pleasure it will give us to pres- ent the letter that you have sent. Sincerely yours, Janes m. Heister Janet M. Geister, R.N., Director at Headquarters. JOE/ES.
