I am somewhat surprised that you did not see
anything of the nurse delegates, especially Miss Doyle, as I gave
her a special note of introduction to you. Judge Payne told me he

had appointed you an advisory delegate. Apparently he has confused
you with someone elsa, I an wondering if this might be the case?
We shall certainly be glad to see you when you
leave for your furlough. Eight months may seem a long time, but it
passes very rapidly and the first thing you know it will be hore
and you will be setting sail for the United States. All the little

personal comments that you send me on Miss Rosenberger and the
others are always read with a great deal of interest. Things move
along about the same at National Headquarters, and are starting
on the New Year with more or less of a clean slate. My National
Committee met on December 12th, and Misses Johnson, Roberts and
Dines were all here. We really had a very interesting meeting,
intermpted for a few ninutes by Dr. Dafoe of Dionne Quintuplet
fane.
