"Miss Nuno was in a mean taxi accident, but fortunately got
away with only a sprained thumb, a cut nose and two black eyes. She is
fading now so she looks yellow like her Japanese friends."

"I em very sorry, indeed, to hear of Miss Nuno's accident.
Even though her injuries seem slight, I think an accident of this kind
is always a shock to one. Please give her my love and express my
sympathy."
