Extracted from letter from Miss Hay to Miss Noyes Mar 23, 1922.
" Do you mean that dear Miss Johnson is offically away from thais and not be on the

dock to greet me when I return?. The work od Miss Johnson and Miss Nuno has certainly

been marvellously efficient. Everyone remarks about it and I am not surprised if it
has been found desirable to extend the same desirable and efficient care to others
of the personnel.'

Indeed, dear Miss Johnson is going to be kept on with us for sometime as will Miss
Nuno. You may see Miss Johnson in Paris before you leave however as there is some
probability of her taking a six weeks' trip with an uncle, and may leave on May 10th.
We are expecting to maintain a nursing office in New York for sometime aas we cannot
close out the personae work until everyone is back from Europe.
