Dear Sirs:-
I am in receipt of a communication from Mi SS
Beatrice Page, who is an American trained nurse and who
graduated from Kings County Hospital and is enrolled in
your order and at present a nurse in Paris.
Unfortunately, she has lost the Red Cross
pin and Insigna of the Order, and as she has volunteered
her services to go to the front as a nurse, she requests
that no time be lost in sending her a duplicate pin and
Insignia of the American Order as she desires to go to
front as an American Red Cross. Her address is 195 Rue de
Universite, Paris.
She has written to your New York branch and I
have also communicated with them and they informed me that
nothing colud be done through the New York office as thege
matters must go through Washington.
Ae I know Mi SS Page to be an A 1 trained nurse,
and her services would only add to humanity, I would request
that no time be lost and that the pin be sent to her on the
France that sails on Wednesday.
Will you kindly inform the writer whether the pin
and Insignia go forward on the France, and oblige,
