AIR MAIL
My dear Mr. Ralph:
In answer to your letter of November 26th, I am enclosing
a
copy of a letter which was sent to you on November 14th, but
addressed to 148-42 86th Avenue, Jemaica, L.I., N.Y.
In view of the limitation on shipping space, all of which
is so badly needed for relief supplies, the Red Cross does not
feel justified in requesting space from the Ministry of
Shipping for personal packages to its own personnel as long as
there is eny provision for taking care of such packages through
regular channels.
We regret that our letter did not reach you, and if the
address to which it was sent in now incorrect we shall appreciste
having you let us know.
Sincerely yours,
Mary Beard,
Director, Nursing Service.
D/H
Encl.
