Miss Nona Diehl
Executive Secretary
Women's Miasionary Society
1228 Spruce Street
Philadelphia 6, Pennsylvania
My dear Misa Diehl:
I am very late in attempting to express to you our
deep appreciation for permitting Miss Lydia Reich to
assist us during a very crucial period in our procurement
program. Her work proved of inestimable value to us and
her presence served as a real inspiration to the group.
I hope that you will convey to your Board an axpres-
sion of gratitude for their generosity in loaning hor to
us.
There are few nurses who could have stepped into
this very complicated situation and becomo a useful part
of the organization with as great ease and facility as Mias
Reich did. She made a real contribution during the brief
period that she was here.
Much as we would like to have kept her longer, we
are delighted that her plans are progressing so that she
in all probability can return to Chins at an early date
beesuse wa know how urgently China needs more nurses like
her.
Sincorely yours,
Virginia M. Dunbar
Director, Nursing Service
