Vladivostok, June 6th, 1919.
Miss Mary L. Reynolds,
American Red Cross,
Omsk, Siberia.
Dear Madam:
This office still holds, unpaid, the voucher which
you submitted on your arrival at Vladivostok for reimbursement
for the traveling expenses incurred by you during your journey
from the United States to Vladivostok to the amount of $14.70.
As it is rather difficult to make payment to you of this
amount, at your present station, in dollars, and, as it is
believed that you will not wish to accumulate any more roubles
than are absolutely necessary, which you can, of course, draw
in the West on your dollar salary at a rate which is teleg-
raphed each month by the Finance Committee here to the Acting
Deputy Treasurer in Omsk, the amount due, $14.70, is being
placed to your credit on the books of this office, and can
be collected by you, whenever you return to Vladivostok; or
if you so desire, it will be forwarded by us in the form of
a check on New York to any address in the United States, to
which you may desire it sent.
If you desire the amount forwarded to anyone in
the United States, please write to this office the name and
address of that person, giving the name in the way in which
the person usually signs it.
