Miss Ann Magnussen
National Director
Nursing Services
The American National Red Cross
Washington,
Dear Miss Magnussen:
I just received a letter from my dear friend Anne McDermott.
She told me the good news about the "overseas pins" and that they
were available to those of the original contingent who were sent
to Hawaii.
As a former member of this first group of Red Cross Nurses
sent to Hawaii - I would appreciate receiving a pin.
day
I have Red Cross Nurse's Badge No. 91786 and served with
Anne McDermott in Wahiawa, Oahu, T. H. I left the Islands in
August 1945 and returned to the States.
Sincerely,
marie T.Raykowsk Rietzhe
