My doar Miss Rosebrooks-
Your application for foreign service has been
approved by the War Department, and as soon as the Bureau of Transpor-
tation can secure accomnodations for you on a steamer they will
send you the date on which you are booked to sail with additional
instructions for your final arrangements to sail.
I would suggest that you seoure a cops of
your birth certificate and have three dosen photographs taken without
a
hat on. The head sise to be 1 x 1-1/4 inches.
Please do not give tip any pasition that you

may be holding until you have been definitely notified by the
Bureau of Transportation concerning your sailing date.
