Miss Sophie c. Nelson, Director,
Visiting Nurse Service,
John Hancock Life Insur. Co.,
P. 0. Box 111,
Boston, Mass.
My dear Miss Nelson:
I was, indeed, amused by the communication@which
Mr. Brunner sent to you, for more reasons then one. I understand that
the September issue of the vourier carries the briefest possible refer-
ence to Miss Rue's resignation.
I have just roturhed to the office this morning
from a three weels' vacation, so that I have not had time to look &
up for myself. Miss Butler leaves this morning for a vacation, but I
showed her your letter before she left.
I hope you too, have had e good vacation, and that
you have not experienced the terrific heat which hos gripped Washington
for the past week.
Sincerely yours,
Nati nal Lirector, Nursing Service.
