work until three nurses wero giving full time. She sought suggestão and showed un-
usual initiativo in adaptation as this work demands when it is given in schools,
factories and rural comminities. I consider Miss Rue has qualities of

Coss as Director of Instruction in Home Hygione and Cara of the Sick for two yeurs,
1923-1925 during which poriod 1 was Executive Secretary of the Chapter. Miss Rue
did a piece of work of conspicuous excellence in organizing claases in Home Hygiene
and Care of the Sick in high schools and vocational schools in Milwaukee and three
auburban cities in Milwaukee County. Miss Ruo had all the contact with school
officials in persuading thon to accept the class as s part of the regular school
curriculum with credit toward a school diploms. She outlined the course of instruction,
taught several of the classos herself, and supervized the work of two other nurse
ira tructorse Niss Rue has hnd Normal School Training and is a teacher of mirked
obility in srouring the interest of her papils, in holding their attention, and in drus-
ing them out. Miss Rue's work in Milwsukee shoved greit ability as supervisor and
