Dr. Robert T. Miller,

Pittsburgh, Pa.
My dear Dr. Miller:-
I beg to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of
April 9th, received at this office on April 10th. I think that by this
time Miss Bulon has received her formal appointment card. These enrolments
are coming into this office at the rate of a hundred a day, and we have
tried to act upon them as promptly as possible. We cannot see why, after
Miss Rulon had been accepted as the Chief Nurse of the Base Hospital Unit,
the mere fact of her not having received her appointment card should have
placed her in an embarrassing position.
I think we have already forwarded to the Surgical Dress-
ingo Committee of the Chapter a complete set of samples: nevertheless, I
am referring this to the Surgical Dressings department, and duplicates will
be supplied.
